First things first, there are no age restrictions to what we qualify as kid's food, drinks, and entertainment - these tips are for all, but have been especially big hits with younger crowds! We've got you covered from quinceañeras, bar/bat mitzvahs, wedding reception activities, and everything in between. Read on for our best food, drink, and entertainment ideas for kids' parties!

ENTERTAINMENT

Photo Booth

Everyone loves a photo booth! Getting dressed up in silly accessories with friends and family is fun in itself, and having a way to capture these moments makes the memories last forever. A photo booth is by far the biggest hit at any kind of event, keeping guests of all ages entertained for hours. Plus, the photos are also great party favours!

Interactive DJ

Keep guests entertained all night long by booking a DJ for your party! Finding the right DJ for any event is very important because the music sets the tone for the entire party, and certain DJs are more interactive than others and can facilitate games, group activities, and more.

Temporary Tattoo Artist

Guests of all ages will definitely be impressed by creating a fun yet temporary look for the day with temporary tattoos. Another artsy alternative is having guests customize their own party favours with an airbrush artist. Designs can be made on just about anything – t-shirts, hats, slippers, sweatshirts, etc..—and is a great idea for any kid's party!

Prize Games

Musical Chairs

In case you don’t already know the drill, set up one less chair than the number of children playing. Start the music, everyone walks around the chairs until they hear the music stop, then everyone rushes to grab a chair. The last person standing is out, another chair is removed, and the music starts again until there is only one final person standing… aka the winner!

Pass the Parcel

Before the party, purchase a gift - small or large in value - and then wrap it in many layers of paper. Recycled wrapping paper or newspaper is great. You’ll want at least one layer per child. To play, have everyone sit in a circle, passing the wrapped parcel around while you play music. When the music stops, whoever is holding the parcel removes the outermost layer of wrapping. Start the music again and continue until one child unwraps the final layer of paper to reveal their gift!

Glam Bar

Glam up your guests with a beauty bar! Not only will it give everyone a cool party look, but it will also make them feel extra confident in your photographs and on the dance floor! If you aren’t keen on makeup enhancement, hair styling and accessorizing is a great alternative or addition.

FOOD

Chef Brûlée’d Mac n’ Cheese

Calling all cheese lovers! Our mac n’ cheese stations are a must, and guests love having the ability to choose toppings and interact with our chef while they brûlée cheese to crispy bubbly perfection.

Fast Food Station

Likely our top-selling station… for a reason! For children and adults, our elevated fast food menu includes a variety of tasty bites, from pizzas and sliders to mini salads and fries, there is something for everyone.

DIY Ice Cream Sundaes

While they may look and taste extravagant, sundaes are simple to assemble and make for a memorable ice cream experience. Here’s how it’s done:

  1. Choose ice cream flavours, usually two or three

  2. Choose toppings, and get creative…crushed cookies, candies, and fruit are a hit!

  3. Choose syrup!

Tip: Another option is to rent an ice cream or gelato cart! Our venue does not allow outside food vendors, however, we make an exception for ice cream carts!

DRINKS

Customizable Mocktails

If your guest of honour has a favourite drink, juice, flavour, or even colour, have fun with ideas and create a custom mocktail! Naming your drink is a must… and we will add it to our menu so that guests can order it at the bar.

Shirley Temple

Shirley (and dirty shirley!) temples are by far the biggest crowd pleaser, for kids and adults!

Kids (Non-Alcoholic) Bar

Leave the main bar for the adults and set up a satellite bar for non-alcoholic drinks for kids! The kids can have their own designated bar where they can order their go-to beverage of choice – and feature fun mocktails described above!

Lemonade Stand

With lemons… we make lemonade! There's nothing better than a refreshing, even nostalgic sip of freshly squeezed lemonade. Our flavour options are a must, taste-wise and aesthetically – the vibrant colour of fruit puree creates a sunset in a glass!

Flavours: Mango, Peach, Raspberry, Blueberry, Strawberry, Kiwi
